El Salvador

Brian and I had the blessed opportunity to join our church in a service mission to El Salvador this summer.  We really felt called to go on this trip and the Lord met us and blessed us in so many ways as we took that step of faith onto the streets of Santa Ana, El Salvador.  We did a ministry called CPE (Church Partnership Evangelism)  with the Iglesia Emmanuel in Santa Ana.  They had appointments for us to meet up with members of their community and share the gospel with them.  We were a group of about 11 from Zootown with 4 others from Wisconsin.  We were partnered  up with native Salvadorans and translators (sometimes;) and they sent us out.  This was perhaps the most challenging mission trip I (Kennetta) have ever been on, and yet the most rewarding in many ways.  We really got to make connections and get to know some of the people of Santa Ana.  Lives on both sides were changed.  Many of them were changed for eternity.  New brothers and sisters were added to our numbers daily and we were able to give all the glory to the One who gave us the words, the love, and the strength to keep on going.  Here are a few photos from that journey:
